To Pixar and Beyond: My Unlikely Journey with Steve Jobs to Make Entertainment History By: Lawrence Levy

This book was great.  I truly enjoyed hearing a rags to riches story about a company that really had no direction and was bleeding money.  Steve Jobs had the foresight to bring in Levy which was able to accomplish what they set out to do.  I had read 'Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson' as well as 'Small Fry by Lisa Brennan-Jobs' and in both those books, they glossed over Pixar.  Levy broth great detail to the missing pieces.

Not only does the book give you an inside view of the "Other side" of Steve Jobs; the side that is not the A-Hole drama queen, but rather the patient, astute, businessman, but also shows you the interworking of an IPO and what goes into it.

The book is well written and kept me engaged the entire time until the last few chapters where Levy talked about his new life work with Juniper.  These chapters where rife with deep thought, meditation and Buddhist practices that although does interest me, I found it a bit out of place in this book.
