The President and the Assassin: McKinley, Terror, and Empire at the Dawn of the American Century By Scott Miller

As I was searching for a book covering the assassination of President McKinley along the lines of American Brutus or Destiny of the Republic, I stumbled onto this book.  Although extremely informative with respect to the US occupation of Cuba, Philippines, Guam and Puerto Rico it covered very little of the assassin and the actual assassination.  There was much about anarchists and the rail road union riots which has sparked another possible interest.  All in all, I enjoyed the book.

This book is not suited for children under 15 years old due to its sexual content.
