Blackout: How Black America Can Make Its Second Escape from the Democrat Plantation By: Candace Owens

Amazing book. Reminds me of the feeing when I saw Barak Obama giving his speech at the DNC. I knew at that moment that I would be seeing Mr. Obama again in a high position. The same is true with Ms. Owens.

She is a smart, quick and beautiful young lady. She was recently married and, at this writing is currently pregnant with their first child. Owens brings a refreshing view to the race issue in the US. I am always stunned how still, in this day and age, there are still white people who feel that somehow they can speak for the Black Community. She once slammed some white women while she was testifying in Congress and she said that she knew better than they did and said "you know what my expertise is, being black in America. I've been black in America my entire life".

Owens tells the tale of her youth and a racial incident that turned out to be an ex boyfriend. She spoke about how those who took in the cause were there for the public portion but then cut and run.

Owners make excellent point on BLM, how the slaves and Blacks from before embraced the nucleus family and had fathers in the home. However the LBJ great society actually encouraged black women to not have a husband and father figure to gain more money.

She addresses victim hood and how it is offensive and should be offensive to Black people today. However it is not. She explains how the left wants to have the Black people feel that they have not reached their potentiL

Not because of their own failure, but rather outside forces that are not allowing them to succeed. She shows specific cases where black people have been able to succeed, and succeed in a grand way.

The book is really a great read. As I stated, she is extremely intelligent and she is so quick on her feet to fireback when needed. She is always prepared with facts, numbers and statistics. I truly believe we will see this bright woman ascend to great things in this country. She would be an amazing Congresswoman or Senator and one day, I can absolutely see her in the Oval Office. It is sad how the media and the supposed "woman's groups" do not defend her more from the vicious attacks brought on by the very same they protect. Not only is she a woman, but she is a BLACK woman.

I great read. I recommend it hole heartedly. Read it and give it to a black person to read, this is her advise, but surely I can agree with it.
