This is one of those strange instances where the movie is as good as the book. Very rarely do you find that. I did like the the movie version of "go get your shine box" better than. The book. Also different is the spider scene where he shoots Michael Imperioli (AKA Christopher from Sopranos).
It's pretty sad to see what he became and the depth he fell to before being saved by the feds. I think the Feds truly did save him.
