The Cuckoo's Egg: Tracking a Spy Through the Maze of Computer Espionage By: Cliff Stoll

Great book. It was near and dear to me since it takes place during the years I was getting into computers and hacking.  The book takes you through the process of tracking an intruder in an age where this was uncharted waters. Sadly, some of the same techniques they used in the 80's are still around in different forms but based on the very attacks and exploitation of the OS's.  If you are a techie, this is the way to go.  If you are not techie, you may be lost in the technical speak.

Here is a link to a YouTube video series about this book. It is missing 2 of 6 but fun to watch.
