2034: A Novel of the Next World War By: Elliot Ackerman and James Admiral Stavridis USN

I read this book on a recommendation by a trusted friend.  Sadly, I was not impressed. About half way through the book, I wanted to quit the book.  I pushed through though.  The book advances the narrative of the inequities and failures of the United States.   I do not ascribe to that narrative.

The book covers a future "war" where India plays a role in trying to contain a possible larger incident by engaging both sides.  Although I do fear China and the coziness this current administration has with them, this book was not what I was looking for.
